Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that has been used for thousands of years. It is also commonly known as an energy healing.

In Japanese the term; “Rei” means something sacred, divine, boundless, God's essence, universal and “Ki” meaning vitality, breath, life force, energy. So, the term Reiki literally means universal energy.

Reiki is a universal spiritual healing which means it does not follow any religion or belief system. It does not matter if you are Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist etc. Reiki is currently practiced all over the world in many different cultures. It is a gift and a birth right.

Reiki helps promote healing and balance on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. It does not cure disease or illness but it can help alleviate symptoms.

How it works:

Reiki involves three things, universal energy, the channel - in this case the Reiki Practitioner, and the person or animal receiving the treatment.

It is simply the laying of hands; the practitioner channels or calls forth the reiki energy allowing it to flow through them. Placing their hands over different areas of the recipients body allows the reiki energy to flow into the person/animal receiving the treatment. Once the energy is received by the recipient, the energy will move around to different areas of the body where it is needed most.

Traditional Reiki

Everything is made up of energy, the plants, the trees, animals and even humans.

As energy beings we encompass an array of energy which helps make up our Aura; the energy field around us. There are 7 main chakras on the body which allow energy to flow in and out of the body. Each chakra governs different organs in the body. We can hold certain emotions in different areas of the body and over time these chakras can become blocked. If a chakra stays blocked for a long period of time, energy isn’t flowing and illness can form in the body.

During Reiki I focus on each chakra. I support the opening of any that may be blocked and rebalance the whole chakra system.

What you can expect

It is like a light massage. You will lay down on the massage table face up. I always tell clients to wear something that is comfortable. I will place my hands over the body for most of the session but there is light touch if the client would like on the head, shoulders, arms, stomach (only if blocked) and the legs from the knees down.

30 min session - $40

60 min session - $70

Reiki with Chakra Reading

For this session you can expect the same Reiki healing that you would receive from the Traditional Reiki Session. The difference with this session is that because I can channel I am open to receiving message for you in regards to your different Chakras.

What you can expect

Everything is the same as the Traditional Reiki in regards to the healing you will receive. Along with this session I will take a few quick notes about each Chakra, why it could be blocked, what you might be experiencing from it, How to strengthen it going forward.

There is 1 page of notes front and back that you get to take home with you.

60 min session - $100

Distance Reiki

When practicing distance reiki, on my end, it is no different than if the person was here in front of me. Reiki is an energy healing. By welcoming your High Self into my space I am able to connect with your energy, to feel it, to read it, and to hold the space for you to heal.

When being taught reiki you are attuned to different reiki symbols at each level. After the second level you are taught a distance symbol which is very powerful for sending reiki energy across time and space to the person receiving it.

What you can expect

When booking a distance reiki session with me we will set up a time that works for both of us. I will ask that during this time you find a quiet space where you can rest. You can lie down and even play meditation music on your end if you'd like.

30 min Traditional session - $40
60 min Traditional session - $70

Couples Reiki
Currently NOT offering

Couples Reiki is great for anyone wanting to share in this experience with someone else. We have had friends book together - it’s a great way for introducing someone to reiki who is not likely to try it on their own. We have had mothers and daughters as well as mothers and sons book. We have had new budding relationships as well as people who have been married for years that are looking for a deeper connection.

When we enter into relationships with others our energy becomes familiar with those around us. By agreeing to be in an intimate relationship with someone an energy cord forms between the two souls. Everything you share as a couple gets passed through this cord to the other. The love you share, the nurturing, the good energy and even the lower vibrating energy.

What you can expect

During a couples reiki session the reiki practitioner will focus on the individual in front of them but there is also a point in the session where we can (if desired) focus the reiki energy around the heart chakras, connecting and clearing the energy between you; supporting the energy to strengthen your cord.
